2006/09/16.33 Under a wide open North Devon sky, a train for Woody Bay leaves the newly built (temporary?) terminus at Killington Lane. The original cutting at this point is to the right of the picture, but was filled in many years ago so major excavations are required here before trains can get under the road and proceed further towards Parracombe. 16th September, 2006Previous | Next2006/09/18.02 There's not much at Parracombe to indicate that it was once a Halt on the L & B, but this Southern Railway concrete waiting shelter gives a clue. A bungalow occupies the station site and trackbed and a chimney can be seen behind the shelter. In the distance, the overbridge can just be seen. 18th September, 2006
