2006/09/16.33  Under a wide open North Devon sky, a train for Woody Bay leaves the newly built (temporary?) terminus at Killington Lane.  The original cutting at this point is to the right of the picture, but was filled in many years ago so major excavations are required here before trains can get under the road and proceed further towards Parracombe.  16th September, 2006

2006/09/16.32  Newly built earlier this year, the 1st/3rd composite carriage has much more comfortable upholstered seating in the first class compartments and is well worth the extra couple of quid!  Woody Bay, 16th September, 2006Previous | Next2006/09/18.01  The lane from the village to Parracombe Halt continues past the station and then swings sharply to the right and goes over the line on this bridge.  The 'line' is now the garden of the bungalow that occupies the station site and trackbed.  18th September, 2006
