2007/08/09.01 Dating back to 1954, this 4-wheel industrial diesel was purchased by the Friends of the Bure Valley Railway in 1993 and rebuilt with a Peugeot diesel engine and hydraulic drive. 2007/08/09.14 The Bure Valley Railway's No.1 WROXHAM BROAD is now a 2-6-4 tank engine, but it has an interesting and varied history. It started life being built c1963 as a 2-6-2 tender engine, but was finished as a steam outline petrol-hydraulic. Later, this became diesel. She has worked at a number of places including Dudley Zoo, the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch, Steamtown Carnforth, the Kirklees Light Railway and the Fairbourne Railway. Here she was known as TRACY-JO.
